Spokane Vitality Center – Appointment Info

Spokane Vitality Center offers personal treatment and extraordinary access to Dr. Getz.

Typical Treatment Plan

Initial Appointment with Dr. Getz. He conducts a thorough health evaluation and discusses your health history, current symptoms and concerns. If after this evaluation, Dr. Getz believes you may have low testosterone, he will write an order for blood tests. He may also discuss lifestyle changes including diet and exercise options that can naturally affect testosterone and quality of life. This appointment typically lasts an hour.

Prescreen Alternative. He orders blood tests to determine a baseline testosterone level. If the results show that the potential client may be eligible for testosterone replacement therapy, the fee for lab review is applied to the Initial Appointment fee.

Follow-up Appointment with Dr. Getz. He discusses the results of your blood tests, and depending on your results, he may write a prescription for testosterone replacement therapy. Generally occurs within 1-2 weeks after initial appointment. Expect this phone appointment to take 30 minutes.

Injection training and demonstration with Dr. Getz. This appointment is “as needed” for those patients who have been prescribed testosterone and need additional instructions on how to administer the drug.

Second Follow-up Appointment with Dr. Getz. He discusses how the therapy is working, both lifestyle and prescription, and if any adjustments need to be made. Generally occurs 4-6 weeks after first follow-up appointment. Expect this appointment to take 30 minutes.

Third Follow-up Appointment with Dr. Getz. This appointment is “as needed” depending on whether adjustments were made in the previous appointment. Generally occurs 4-6 weeks after second follow-up appointment, again, only on an “as needed” basis. Expect this phone appointment to take 15-20 minutes.

Semi-annual Appointment with Dr. Getz. These appointments occur once a successful therapy plan is in place. These are routine evaluations of health and symptoms. Blood tests are required at least annually, occasionally semi-annually, at Dr. Getz’s discretion. Expect these appointments to take 30 minutes.

Phone call questions. During the course of hormone replacement treatment, our clients often call with questions for Dr. Getz. These calls, unless they become excessive, are at no-charge. Dr. Getz is available to ensure your treatment plan is as successful as possible.
